As SMAD continues to recognize members of its community who continually work and give their effort to live the value of solidarity with the poor for the month of October, three personnel were again acknowledged as “Child of Saint Candida”.
The ADHOC committee on Discernment headed by Miss Welina Lavizares conducted an awarding ceremony last November 08, 2022 at the SMAD Chapel at 3:45 in the afternoon. Mr. Leonardo Calumbres for the Staff and Maintenance, Mrs. Delia Sapida for the Grade school department and Mrs. Arlene Ibrahim for the Junior High school department were awarded as Child of Saint Candida for the month of October. The honoring was attended by representatives coming from different departments of the educative community.
Indeed, to be in solidarity with the poor is to continually give our best effort in living out this value in our own simple ways amidst our limitations and to continually see the face of Christ in each person that we encounter everyday.
